- This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice/Synopsis in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 15, following this announcement, on or about 15 days from the publication of this announcement. The solicitation and if applicable, any amendments, shall be posted on SAM.gov. Responses will be due 30 days after the solicitation is posted, unless extended through an amendment. There may be a question and answer period/pre-proposal conference before proposals are due. Interested offerors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time proposals are due to be eligible for award. Proposals submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered. The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting offers for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government anticipates awarding a sole contract to make building improvements Creede, CO.� Additional awards, at Forest Service discretion, may be considered depending on Forest Service need and results for proposal evaluations. Scope of Work: Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight, and delivery for the following: Remove and install new windows. Prepare and paint building exterior. Remove and install new lighting and switches. Remove and install new electrical panels This opportunity is set aside for total small businesses. Location(s): This project is located at 304 South Main Street, Creede, Colorado 81130. Disclaimer: This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.
