This is a SOURCES SOUGHT and is for Informational/Market Research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID, NOR A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. SOURCES SOUGHT: CLASSIFICATION CODE: �S � Service NAICS CODE:� 562111 � Solid Waste Collection SIZE STANDARD:� $47,000,000 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is seeking small businesses that can provide the following: The Contractor shall provide all manpower, labor, equipment, materials/supplies, transportation, fuel, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide refuse and recycling collection and disposal services, including supplying of collection containers, for all designated public use and administrative areas at the Saylorville Lake Project, near Johnston, Iowa, as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and elsewhere within the solicitation.� The Contractor shall perform to the standards as outlined in the contract.� Services also consist of attending annual pre-work conferences, meetings as necessary, and preparing worksheets and invoices.� A map of Saylorville Lake can be found on the Internet at: http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/SaylorvilleLake.aspx. � The proposed contract will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), performance-based service contract.� The proposed contract will be issued in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The expected period(s) of performance is/are as follows: BASE PERIOD:� 1 March 2024 through 28 February 2025 OPTION PERIOD 1:� 1 March 2025 through 28 February 2026 OPTION PERIOD 2:� 1 March 2026 through 28 February 2027 POINT OF CONTACT: Questions and capability statements should be sent directly to Chris McCabe, Contract Specialist, at christopher.a.mccabe@usace.army.mil.� SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: All interested, responsive, and responsible, small-business firms are encouraged to participate in this market research by providing a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this notice.� Supporting evidence should be in sufficient detail that demonstrates the ability to comply with the requirements listed.� All responses must be received no later than 2:00 PM Central Time on 29 December 2024 to be considered.
