- Sources Sought: 191NLE24N0001 for INL/Costa Rica � Gas Chromatographer, Mass Spectrometer, and Software. Background: The inTuvo 9000 is a state-of-the-art gas chromatographer known for its exceptional precision, sensitivity, and reliability. Its advanced features, including rapid analysis capabilities and integrated data management, make it uniquely suited to meet the evolving needs of the Costa Rican Forensics Lab. No other gas chromatographer on the market offers the same level of performance and sophistication. Costa Rica�s Forensics Lab currently utilizes a range of analytical instruments, including gas chromatographs. By procuring the inTuvo 9000, they ensure seamless compatibility with the existing equipment, allowing for consistent and standardized analytical processes. This harmonization is crucial for the accuracy and reliability of forensic analysis results. The manufacturer of the Agile inTuvo 9000, has a well established reputation for providing comprehensive support, maintenance, and training services based in Costa Rica. This ensures that the forensic team will receive the necessary training to operate the instrument effectively and minimize downtime due to maintenance issues. It is anticiapted that a sole source for the inTuvo 9000 will be needed, unless other sources are identified and able to provided one (1) gas chromatographer, one (1) mass spectrometer, and two (2) software upgrades. The contract shall include comprehensive device testing. The contractor shall include in-service for end users. The contract shall include an in-site diagnosis service to be available within 24 hours of any given situation with the equipment. The contractor shall include any required on-going training and in-case support necessary to properly train the Department of Forensics Sciences of the Government of Costa Rica, thus that they may utilize the equipment safely and successfully without vendor support. The vendor must also have rights to service the equipment in Costa Rica. Please see attached Request for Information (RFI) 191NLE24N0001 and Statement of Work (SOW) for additional information.
