- Description
- The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department Groton Office, Groton, CT intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Sole Source Purchase Order to Research Foundation for the State University of New York - University of Buffalo - Center for Research and Education in Special Environments (CRESE) for Nitrogen Narcosis Research Analysis to include Consultation and Personnel Support Services for an approved project study. Services for this collaborative project shall occur over (3) three phases for (1) one year from contract award ADC. The estimated period of performance is (5) Days ADC to (1) Year from contract award ADC. This purchase will be procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 31 January 2024. This notice is not a request for proposals or quotations. However, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing and sent to sharon.j.dexter.civ@us.navy.mil to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete this requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to make a determination that an equivalent supply/service exists that would meet the Governments needs stated herein. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
