- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, is seeking to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered businesses that are interested and capable of performing the following: Process Hazard Analysis. This is NOT a request for proposal. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice.� The procurement is for the purchase of a Process Hazard Analysis for the Processes Safety Management covered processes at various buildings to include the identification of potential hazards, evaluation of risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. See Attachment 0001 for the specific processes and buildings on which the PHA will be conducted.�This service will be provided for one year. No option years. Specific Tasks: 1. Identifying all hazardous chemicals, materials, and processes that are covered under the PSM standard. 2. Conducting a thorough review of relevant process documentation, including process flow diagrams, piping, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other relevant documents. 3. Identifying and evaluating potential hazards associated with the covered processes, such as process upsets, equipment failures, human errors, external events, and other relevant factors. 4. Recommending appropriate mitigation measures to control, reduce, or eliminate identified hazards and risks, including engineering controls, administrative controls, and procedural changes. 5. Preparing a comprehensive hazard analysis report that includes a summary of findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation. SUBMISSION DETAILS: All Interested, responsive and responsible SAM Database registered businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research by emailing the requirement information below to the point of contact listed on this annoucement. Interested businesses must be registered in the SAM Database at www.sam.gov. Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for market research purposes: 1. Company Name, Address, SAM Unique Entity ID/ CAGE Code, current business size (i.e. Small or Large business) 2. Brief Synopsis of interest and a capabilites statement indicating the contractor can meet the requirment needs 3. A prior experience statement indicating the contractor has provided this requirement to the Governement, with a previous contract listed 4. Point of contact information to include name, phone number and email address. Responses and requested information shall be sent via email to Contract Specialist, Bridget Garnica at bridget.m.garnica.civ@army.mil no later than Wednesday, 17 January 2024. Interested offerors shall include ""W519TC24QPPHA Response - [Insert Offeror's Name]"" within the Subject line.
