Description
52.232-18 Availability of Funds. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The 122nd Fighter Wing seeks a capable and reliable small business contractor to provide lodging with travel management services for our upcoming Strong Bonds event, which is currently scheduled from March 15 to March 17, 2024. We would like our event to be held within 5 hours of Fort Wayne, Indiana at a ski resort. An example of venues we are interested in are Crystal Mountain. Please refer to the attached Performance Work Statement for a more detailed outline of the event specifications. When submitting a quote for this project, contractors are asked to provide a clear breakdown of all costs, with each line item individually stated. The breakdown should be formatted as a spreadsheet for ease of comparison and review. In accordance with FAR 13.106, the quotes will undergo a comparative evaluation to determine which quote is the best overall offer to the government in terms of high technical capability, while also providing a competitive price. Quotes will be evaluated by performing a direct comparison of one offer with another in a uniform manner to determine which quote provides the government with its needs. The government reserves the right to consider a response that offers more than the minimum and select that response if it provides a benefit to the government. The government has the discretion to accept other than the lowest priced offeror that provides additional benefits. The government reserves the right to select a response that provides benefit to the Government that exceeds the minimum but is not required to do so. Responses may exceed requirements. Each response at a minimum must meet solicitation requirement statement. We look forward to receiving proposals from interested small businesses who can help ensure the success of our Strong Bonds event. For further details or any questions, please do not hesitate to contact andrew.brown.69@us.af.mil
