Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Design Bid Build construction renovation space in Building 10 at Defense Supply Center (DSCC) Columbus, OH W912QR24B0004 SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the construction renovation space in Building 10 at Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Columbus, OH. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Brand Name Sole Source � Simplex 4100 ES Fire Control Unit The unit will be utilized to integrate the new building into DTA�s installation wide Fire Alarm/Mass Notification System (FA/MNS). The estimated cost is $10,000. Simplex is the sole Fire Alarm/MNS equipment and system used at Defense Supply Center Columbus. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.� All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.� The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM ET on� 06 February 2024 to brandon.h.gatz@usace.army.mil.
