- Title of Work: COTTONWOOD SLOUGH PUMP STATION REHABILITATION Project Description: The project is the rehabilitation of various components of the Cottonwood Slough Pumping Station, due to aging infrastructure. The scope of this project is limited to an �in-kind� replacement and renovation of existing structural, mechanical, electrical, civil features and equipment of the pump station. Note: FEMA funds will replace the pumps and motor engines. Therefore, the existing pumping units do not require replacement. Work Location: The work shall be performed in Cairo, IL ( Alexander County). The exact location will be indicated on the contract drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $45 million. Acquisition Strategy: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District (MVM) proposes to advertise this project as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Award will be made to the responsible bidder with the lowest evaluated price.� Magnitude of Work: Between $500K and $1 million Invitation for Bid: Will be issued on/about � 09 February 2024 Bid Opening Date: On/About � 11 March 2024 The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. The government reserves the right to award a contract from this solicitation. The Solicitation No. will be W912EQ-24-B-0005. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a government contract award. This announcement serves as the Advance Notice for this project. Responses to this synopsis are not required. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for proposal preparation costs.
