Description
A0005 - Question and Answers This project is a lighting upgrade in an existing building. Both Subfactor 1a and Factor 3 appear to be designed to assess a multi-trade project. Please confirm that the VA is actually requesting relevant experience with interior renovations which are usually under $2,000,000. Answer - The project NAICS Code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. Please ensure the NAICS Code is included in your VetCert or you will not be qualified to receive the award. The specific scope for this project involves primarily one trade (electricians). To complete this project on time, most if not all SDVOSB companies will have to hire an electrical subcontractor to supplement their workforce and provide the correct lights. Due to the unique requirements of the scope, please confirm that the relevant subcontractors past performance may be considered. Answer No, Subcontractors Past Performance will not be considered. Does the VA have a team agreement form that will allow the prime contractor s teaming partner/subcontractor s past performance as relevant to the proposal or will the prime contractor s teaming form be sufficient? Answer Just the prime contractor s teaming form will be sufficient. On the site visit, they stated that they want center basket LEDs for the hallway fisstures.  Are flat panel LED fixtures acceptable for other areas? Corrected Answer No, All should be Center Basket. No flat panels. End of Questions and Answers
