Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), Division of Bacterial Diseases (DBD) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Tecan US. The requirement is for a Tecan Fluent 1080 recertification/ preventative maintenance (PM) and service contract. Tecan US is the only vendor with the capacity, experience, and therefore, is the only vendor able to meet the Government�s need. The purchase order will be awarded for 12 months (2/22/2024 � 2/21/2025). This requirement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (Simplified Acquisition Procedures and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).� Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS; however, all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be reviewed by the government.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Any response must be emailed to the contract specialist at DThreatt2@cdc.gov by February 9, 2024 by 3:00 PM EDT.
