Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for Market Research. This is a Request for Information only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Department of Veterans Affairs Dallas VA Medical Center Engineering Service in Dallas, Texas intends to award a brand name or equal contract award for service of Relocate Pharmacy Trailer. The Government is conducting a market survey to help determine the availability and technical capability of qualified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, small businesses, HUBZone small businesses and/or other large businesses capable of serving the needs identified below. This notice of intent is for open market as well as Federal Supply Schedule items. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business, relative to NAICS 532120 with a size standard of $47M. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov or GSA E-Buy at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0001 1.00 LT Local MOVE OF RENTAL PHARMACY INCLUDES:- Dedicated trailer transit from site to site within 200 mile radius- Labor and Travel for one (1) Germfree Technician onsite for 1 day to pack up trailer- Labor and Travel for one (1) Germfree Technician to meet the Rx Trailer upon arrival at NEW site for up to 4 days.- While on site GF technician will unpack the trailer, set and level, install GF supplied stairs and awning, start-up the trailer, provide an initial cleaning service and operator training in the start-up and daily operations of the trailer (not SOPs for Rx work). EXCLUDES:- Disconnection / Connection of main power supply or other support utlitly services- Disconnection / Connection of client's network or fire/burglar system.- Removal of any ramps or stairs added by the customer onsite- Certification of Pharmacy Cleanroom- Certification of Pharmacy Equipment- Certification or approvals from state boards of pharmacy- Any seismic strapping or bracing required by the client CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT DISCONNECT MAIN POWER TO TRAILER UNTIL GERMFREE ARRIVES TO PICKUP. CLIENT SHOULD CONNECT MAIN POWER TO TRAILER WITHIN 1 1/2 DAYS OF TRAILER ARRIVAL. CLIENT SHOULD CONNECT WATER TO TRAILER WITHIN 2 DAYS OF TRAILER ARRIVAL. IF OVER 5 DAYS OR RETURN VIISIT TO COMPLETE INSTALL, A SEPARATE CHARGE MAY BE REQUIRED. HTS: License Not Required / ECCN: License Not Required LOCAL STOCK NUMBER: MPCT-LM SOW - Relocate Clean Pharmacy Trailer I. BACKGROUND: The Dallas VAMC requires the Clean Pharmacy Room Trailer to be relocated to the Garland VAMC facility to provide closer parking access to Veterans. II. SCOPE OF WORK: Prepare the Clean Pharmacy Trailer to relocate, relocate the Clean Pharmacy Trailer to Garland VAMC, and set up the Clean Pharmacy Trailer for operational use. Dedicated trailer transit from site to site from 4500 S Lancaster Rd, Dallas. TX. 75216 to 2300 Marie Curie Blvd, Garland. TX. 75042. - Labor and Travel for one (1) Technician onsite for 1 day to pack up trailer - Labor and Travel for one (1) Technician to meet the Rx Trailer upon arrival at NEW site for up to 4 days. - While onsite, technician will unpack the trailer, set and level, install contractor supplied stairs and awning, start-up the trailer, provide an initial cleaning service and operator training in the start-up and daily operations of the trailer (not SOPs for Rx work). The Contact for the VA will be TBD, and TBD USP and Hazardous Drugs Pharmacy Program Manager - Disconnection/Connection of main power supply or other support utility services - Disconnection/Connection to VA systems including fire/burglar system but not limited to. - Removal of any ramps or stairs added by the customer onsite - Certification of Pharmacy Cleanroom- Certification of Pharmacy Equipment - Certification or approvals from state boards of pharmacy - Any seismic strapping or bracing required by the Government. Main power to the Clean Pharmacy Trailer shall not be disconnected until Contractor arrives onsite at Dallas VAMC Campus for pickup. Government shall connect main power to the trailer within 1-2 days of the trailer s arrival on the Garland VAMC Campus. Client should connect water to trailer within 2 days of the trailer s arrival. If not connected in more than 5 days, or a return visit is required to complete the installation, a separate charge may be required. III. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SECURITY REQUIREMENTS The Contractor will not have access to VA Desktop computers, online resources belonging to the Government, or any means to access patient information while performing the work described in the Scope of Work. None of the information in this Scope of Work, nor any information related to the performance of the work, includes Protected Health Information (PHI) or Individually Identifiable Information (III). The C&A Requirements do not apply. Security Accreditation Package is not required.
