- Notification to Inform Industry of the Posting of Amendment 0002 to Solicitation #W9113M-24-R-0062, Design, Development, Demonstration, and Integration II (D3I2) Domain 2 (D2) Amendment 0002 On behalf of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC), the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone (located in Huntsville, Alabama) is issuing this formal notification to inform industry of the posting of Amendment 0002 to Solicitation W9113M-24-R-0062, D3I2 D2 in Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module (SM). Amendment 0002 is being issued to incorporate revisions to the solicitation due to Government responses to Q&As Set #3, which was posted to PIEE SM on February 02, 2024. Amendment 0002 Summary of Changes to the solicitation are as follows: (1) Section(s) I Contract Clauses; 2) Section J Attachments; 3) Section L Instructions to Offerors; and 4) Section M Evaluation Criteria. Note that offerors shall rely upon the entirety of the RFP, as amended (if there is a conflict between the summary section of the SF 30, Block 14, and the RFP section, then the latter shall govern). Note that all changes highlighted in yellow are changes made under Amendment 0001; and all changes highlighted in turquoise are changes made under Amendment 0002. Note that questions/comments must have been received not later than 2:00 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST), January 18, 2024, while OCI mitigation plans must have been received not later than 2:00 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST), January 22, 2024. (At this time, the Government is not accepting additional questions regarding the RFP solicitation or Q&A Sets 1, 2,or 3 and OCI submittal instructions.) The proximity date of award is on/about February 05, 2025. For this acquisition, the following applies as stated in the posted RFP solicitation: North American Industry Classification System Code: 541715 (Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) Exception 3 Guided Missiles and Space Vehicles, Their Propulsion Units and Propulsion Parts; Business Size Standard: 1,300 Employees. Product Service Code: AC13 National Defense R & D Services; Department of Defense (DoD) Military; Experimental Development. Contract Type: Multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (MAIDIQ) basic contract with cost-plus-fixed fee and firm-fixed-price task orders. This D3I2 D2 requirement is a 100% small business set-aside acquisition that supports the USASMDC mission and is a follow-on to the current D3I MAIDIQ contract. This follow-on D3I2 D2 MAIDIQ requirement includes a combination of the current D3I D2 and D3 contract vehicles. NOTE: The acquisition is open to only small businesses.
