- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the Building 3168 Security Upgrades Project for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, Indiana. As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Vapor Pipe Shield (VPS) � VPS is required for the dry pipe and pre-action sprinkler system to be compatible with the current installation network. NOTIFIER fire alarm system - NOTIFIER is required for the fire alarm system to be compatible with the current installation network. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.� All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.� The submission must be received no later than 12:00 PM ET on 23 February 2024 to stephanie.n.drees@usace.army.mil.
