- This is a Notice of Intent published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of a sole source firm fixed price contract to the following contractor to provide GE SEER 1,000 Holter Monitors in support of VA Nebraska/Western IA Health Care System, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105 GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, Inc. UEI: V4ZDCG4KSEX8 9900 W INNOVATION DR, WAUWATOSA, WI 53226 USA This is done under authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1: Only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research revealed that GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, Inc is the proprietary developer and sole service provider for the GE SEER 1000 Holter Monitors currently being utilized by VA Nebraska/Western IA Health Care System. Description of Work: GE SEER 1,000 Holter Monitors is the updated model and replacement for models that are no longer functioning. The deliverables include 10-SEER 1000 10-SEER 1000 Recorder Kit, 48 Hour 10-SEER 1000 Leadwire set, 5 leadwire, 2 CH, 105 cm (41 in), AHA 10-SEER 1000 Language Kit, English The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (Medical And Surgical Instruments, Equipment, And Supplies). While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement, including documentation from the proprietary rights holder Simplex Grinnell that such contractor could provide this service as an authorized reseller, authorized dealer or third party.
