- Reference Sources Sought Notice: SS-2024009731. Presently, NREL�s procurement department utilizes multiple platforms and channels to develop and implement its subcontracts, ordering agreements, and purchase orders. NREL seeks a unified contract writing system to consolidate the usage of these multiple approaches. A new contract writing system should solve a lack of standardization among contract vehicles, as well as a lack of modern contract management functionality. In order to better serve the Lab�s procurement and compliance needs, this SSN aims to identify potential vendors qualified and capable of meeting the project�s objectives, detailed below. The information received in response to this SSN will guide NREL�s focus for writing a requirements document to meet our overall research goals. The project objective, at a high level, is to provide a contract writing system capable of meeting NREL Procurement�s contract writing needs. NREL is considering both acquiring existing software/functionality and configuring it to specifications as well as developing software as may be necessary to meet the need.
