Description
The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: The 76 AMXG is requesting the utilization of funds for the purchase of B-52 Jacking Extensions. The B-52 Jacking Extensions allows PDM to implement a more comprehensive jacking configuration with the 30-ton jack and 60-ton jack, this will allocate additional space for concurrent maintenance. Fabricate two (2) B-52 Bomb Bay Jack Fittings X202316178-10 and two (2) B-52 Bomb Bay Jack Fittings X202316178-30. Non-destructive Inspect (NDI) all welds for cracks and provide inspection report. These units will be use as prototypes to provide functionality and fitment checks prior to fabrication of remaining production units. Contractor must also proof load one (1) B-52 Bomb Bay Jack Fittings X202316178-10 and one (1) B-52 Bomb Bay Jack Fittings X202316178-30 with a compressive axial proof load of 6500 lbs. thru the 1.0-inch openings in Find No. 10 and 11. Inspect assemblies after proof load for structural damage and NDI welds for cracks/failures. Inspection report is required to detail condition after proof load. Once the prototypes have been tested and approved, fabricate ten (10) B-52 Bomb Bay Jack Fittings X202316178-10 and ten (10) B-52 Bomb Bay Jack Fittings X202316178-30.� Non-destructive Inspect (NDI) all welds for cracks and provide inspection report. All work stated in writing by the contractor will encompass shipping, handling and or transfer fees. All deliveries will be Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM and coordinated through OC-ALC/OBCB Contract Monitor. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: �TBD This is a small business set-aside System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 336413 with a size standard of 1250 EMP. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.
