- Department of Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this source sought notice (Only) pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. This market research is to identify entities that could provide onsite face-to-face training and a Healthcare Environmental Services Certification to include testing for Environment Services Supervisor for the Department of Veterans Affairs Martinsburg VA Medical Center. The purpose of the sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications relative to NAICS 611430. It will also be used to identify qualified and responsible small business vendors (e.g. Service Disabled/Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), 8(a), small disadvantaged, women-owned small business) having an interest in and posses the resources to provide focused leadership training to CSP new and experienced leaders, incorporating leadership principles, tools, and strategies. The Healthcare Environmental Services Certification will develop and enhance the skills of environmental services staff from frontline employees to project managers. The Professional Education Credentialing Program (PECP) primary objective is to train and develop Environmental Services and Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers, Training Managers, Quality Assurance Coordinators, Directors and Project Managers. Upon completion of the training the participants will have the opportunity to test for the Certified or Registered Environmental Services Executive designation. Training must include the following courses: Management Philosophy and Style Waste Management Communication Purchasing Planning and Organizing Accounting and Budgets Staffing and Staff Development Microbiology Safety and Security Continuous Improvement Interiors Housekeeping Techniques Laundry and Linen Work controls Written Exam (passing grade 80% or higher) Pest control Chemical Controls Interested & Capable Respondents in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to provide above training, please respond with your: 1.
