- Description
- The contractor shall provide and deliver EQ-i 2.0� Emotional Intelligence Training in a single 2-day workshop annually for up to 30 FDA employees as described in Tasks below.� The Contractor shall coordinate the exact dates for the training with the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR), OTED Point of Contact (POC) or designee and the actual number of students will be provided at time of award. Actual number of students will be provided at time of award.� Each day�s training session shall be eight (8) hours long, with a 1-hour lunch break and two (2) fifteen (15) minute breaks. In this course, participants will be trained on emotional intelligence fundamentals and develop a shared understanding of the Reuven BarOn model EQ-i 2.0� framework and its applicability to the workplace using. Using the EQ-i 2.0� Emotional Intelligence assessment, participants will quantify their emotions, behaviors, and attitudes, compare themselves to a norm group, and gain an idea of how their approach and behaviors differ from other members of their team. Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: ����� Demonstrate improved self-awareness and self-management skills from the EQ-i 2.0� (Emotional Intelligence) assessment ����� Integrate a shared EQ lexicon and framework that promotes team cohesion and improved communication ����� Discover the behavioral elements of the EQ-i model of Emotional Intelligence and how each element can support or impede success ����� Identify EQ behaviors most helpful in common workplace scenarios ����� Identify EQ behaviors most important on your team and/or within the FDA/ORA culture ����� Develop immediate actions and personal action plans to develop selected EQ elements ����� Engage in peer coaching to develop personal development plans.
