- The Bath VA Medical Center located at 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810 has a requirement for a Asteres ScriptCenter Locker Kiosk. This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested vendors that respond to this Combined Synopsis Solicitation must provide evidence that they are able to meet all the requirements identified herein. This requirement is being solicited as an SDVOSB Set Aside for Brand Name or Equal equipment. The referenced Brand Name in this Synopsis is Asteres. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit competitive offers to award a firm fixed price contract. Interested vendors may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes received prior to the date listed in SAM.gov shall be considered by the Government. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339113 and the size standard is 800 Employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-02. Only emailed proposals received directly from the offeror shall be considered. Contract Title. One (1) brand name or equal Asteres ScriptCenter Locker Kiosk. Background. The Finger Lakes Healthcare System, Bath VA Medical Center Campus, requires the procurement of One (1) brand name or equal Asteres ScriptCenter Locker Kiosk to be used by the Bath VAMC domiciliary (DOM). The kiosk will allow Veterans to pick up their medications once they are loaded into the kiosk by pharmacy staff. This will alleviate any workflow issues at the Pharmacy department and within the DOM nursing medication room. This provides automated pharmacy pickup solutions for patient focused care and increased medication compliance. This product is already installed at multiple VA Medical Centers. Scope. The purchase of One (1) each brand name or equal Asteres ScriptCenter Locker Kiosk. Specifications. One (1) brand name or equal Asteres ScriptCenter Locker Kiosk. Includes the following: 60+ Locker system capable of supporting regular and oversized medication packages. System must support ability to expand (add on) number of prescription lockers if indicated. Touch screen display. Fingerprint or secure log-in capability specific to the patient picking up the medication and staff loading prescriptions into the system. o Prefer ability for Veterans to us their ID cards as part of the process, but not mandatory. 24/7 system availability to pick-up prescription by patients. Bar code technology for tracking of prescriptions. On-site hardware support within 1 business day. Windows 7/Windows 10 compatible Power Conditions: Normal Operation 12 A, 120 VAC, 50-60 Hz. Software and network capabilities proven compatible with VA methodologies including VISTA and existing Scriptpro dispensing equipment. o Supports current system of batching and loading prescriptions via Scriptpro dispensing equipment. o Class 1 VISTA interface in place Program Need Date: Requesting a 90 day turn or sooner from date of award. Address: Bath VA Medical Center 76 Veterans Ave DOM Building 104 2nd floor Bath, NY 14810 52.212-2 EVALUATION COMMERCIAL ITEMS (October 2014) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: (1) Technical or Quality (2) Price (c) Evaluation Approach. The Government will evaluate quotations using the comparative evaluation process outlined in FAR 13.106-2 (b) (3), where quotations will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the Government. The Government reserves the right to consider a quotation other than the lowest price that provides additional benefit(s). Quotations may exceed minimum requirements of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to select a quotation that provides benefit to the Government that exceeds the minimum requirements of the solicitation but is not required to do so. Each response must meet the minimum requirements of the solicitation. The Government is not requesting or accepting alternate quotations. The evaluation will consider the following: (1) Technical or Quality: The quotation will be evaluated to the extent to which it can meet and/or exceed the Government s requirements as outlined in the solicitation and based on the information requested in the instructions to quoters section of the solicitation. (2) Price: The Government will evaluate the price by adding the total of all line-item prices. The Total Evaluated Price will be that sum. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This combined synopsis solicitation shall result in the award of a firm fixed price contract.
