GENERAL INFORMATION: Document Type: Sources Sought Synopsis Posted Date: 04 March 2024 Classification Code: 336411 � Aircraft manufacturing PURPOSE: The purpose of this sources sought synopsis (SSS) is to solicit feedback from the marketplace on specific companies� ability to meet the United States Air Force�s (USAF�s) requirement for the Commercial Aircraft Acquisition and Sustainment Team (CAAST). The responses to this SSS will aid the USAF in that decision-making process on its next steps towards pursuing an IDIQ. This SSS is a request for information (RFI) and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP).� Any responses are submitted voluntarily, and the USAF will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of the responses. CONTRACTING OFFICE: Department of the Air Force AFLCMC/WLNK, C-130 2590 Loop Rd West, Bldg 558 WPAFB, OH 45433-7142 DESCRIPTION: The United States Air Force (USAF) has a requirement to acquire and sustain aircraft from a diverse and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer base.
