Description
Title of Work: CASTOR & DITCH 39 CLEARING AND SNAGGING Project Description: The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, and materials for clearing and snagging according to the specifications and plans, and any incidental related work. The work will occur within the channel to clear trees and vegetation that have grown up within the bottom of the channel footprint or along the channel bench as to not disturb trees along top bank, except for equipment ingress/egress. Clearing and snagging will be performed as needed in areas where debris is diverting channel flow. The work shall be located at the confluence of ditch 39 and ditch 1, continue upstream on Castor River to the upstream limits of the project, approximately as indicated. The exact location will be indicated on the contract drawings. Work Location: The work shall be performed in Stoddard County, Missouri. The exact location will be indicated on the contract drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a small business size standard of $45 million. Acquisition Strategy: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District (MVM) proposes to advertise this project as a competitive 8(a) set aside. Award will be made to the responsible bidder with the lowest evaluated price. Magnitude of Work: Between $5 million and $10 million Invitation for Bid: Will be issued on/about � 02 April 2024 Bid Opening: Will be held on/about � 02 May 2024 The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. The government reserves the right to award a contract from this solicitation. The Solicitation Number will be W912EQ24B0006. A copy of the solicitation may be downloaded from www.sam.gov.
