Description
BLM-CO DRY GULCH CRI - Class III - 1675 Acres This is a pre-solicitation notice for a soon to be published request for quotes for a cultural resource inventory preparation for future fuels reduction projects. No quotes, bids or proposals are being accepted at this time, but you are encouraged to ask questions, attend the virtual pre-bid conference on 25 March, update your SAM registration, check your CRUP (now called a PAI) status and mark this solicitation with a follow tag in www.sam.gov so you get notified of any changes. Description of Work: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to perform a Class III (intensive) field inventory of approximately 1,675 acres of BLM administered public lands in Moffat County, Colorado. The BLM is proposing to treat 1,730 acres of BLM administered lands; therefore, a cultural resource inventory is required prior to vegetation treatments that include mechanical (mastication), lop and scatter, piling, and prescribed burning to locate, evaluate and adequately protect all sites from the effects of the undertaking. All newly identified sites and isolated finds located will be recorded and mapped. Previously recorded sites will be re-located, evaluated, and re-recorded if their original recording is over 10 years old; for those identified within 10 years of the current inventory, complete OAHP Cultural Re-Visitation Forms addressing impacts or changes to the site, if any exist. Note: The Cultural Resource Use Permit (CRUP) is now called a Permit for Archaeological Investigation (PAI). If you would like to attend, email the POCs to receive a calendar invite. There will be no hosted physical visit, but you are always welcome to visit public lands on your own time and expense.
