This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE is for the purpose of Market Research. Response to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals or quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS or QUOTES and NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall NOT be construed as solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking preferably Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, or Small Businesses (but will accept other than small business for market research purposes), capable of providing Steris Amsco Steam Sterilizers for Sterile Processing Service, Biloxi, MS. See DRAFT Statement of Work for detailed description of supplies. The NAICS code is 334513 Instrument and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables and the Size Standard is 750 employees. Responses must be received by no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Time, Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Responses shall be emailed to rene.impey@va.gov. Specifications/Characteristics: (3) 26.5 x 26.5 x 51"" (673 x 673 x 1295 mm); 587L Amsco 600 Steam Sterilizers. (1) 20 x 20 x 38 (508 x 508 x 965) Amsco 400 Steam Sterilizer A fully jacketed chamber with stainless piping for steam Pneumatically driven doors are operated from a button on the touch screen; and travel down vertically to open. include a micro-processor-based control system featuring a touch-sensitive screen. Real time operating system, microcomputer control boards, and peripheral function circuit boards. An Internal flash memory stores all cycle memory. 35 user programmable cycle options, including prevacuum and gravity cycles designed for steam sterilization of various types of products such as instruments (in trays) and rigid containers, textiles, and pouched items. Standard test cycles (Warm-up, Bowie-Dick/air removal and leak test). All processing cycles offer user programmable options, allowing operators to customize sterilize times above AAMI recommended minimums, temperatures within cleared 270-275°F (132-135°C) range and dry times from 0-120 minutes to meet various instrument manufacturer IFUs Six factory-set cycles, three test cycles and 26 additional cycles that a Customer can add to meet specific processing requirements. The 45 kW Integral Electrical Steam Generator is designed to produce clean steam. To prevent generator malfunction, feed water must be either deionized or RO, per ASME Pressure Vessel Code 5.3. The heating element contains stainless-steel AISI 316L tubular elements. Booster pump to maintain the flow of feed water at a rate sufficient to ensure efficient operation of the sterilizer. Installation/Construction must include all plant modifications needed for new equipment (plumbing, electrical, stainless facings ect.) Installation will need to be performed in stages to allow continuation of sterilization capabilities during project. Must include night and weekend labor to account for normal operations.
