Description
This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for Heyburn Lake Baffle Block Repair project aims to address the deteriorated condition of baffle blocks within the Heyburn Lake spillway structure at Heyburn Lake, Oklahoma. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this pre-solicitation notice or any follow up postings. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers � Tulsa District has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for the Heyburn Lake Baffle Blocks Replacement. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price, sealed bid contract procured in accordance with FAR Part 14. �This will be a small business set aside competitive procurement that will result in the award of one (1) Firm-Fixed Price, C-type contract, using the sealed bid process in accordance with FAR Part 14. Project Description: The scope of the project aims to address the deteriorated condition of baffle blocks within the Heyburn Lake spillway structure at Heyburn Lake, Oklahoma. Baffle blocks play a crucial role in regulating water flow and preventing erosion, ensuring the stability and longevity of the spillway. Based on inspections conducted, it has been observed that several baffle blocks require immediate replacement due to significant damage and degradation. The main tasks include: Constructing and maintaining upland temporary access/haul roads for work access. No fill within the channel or stilling basins will be permitted. Removing riprap, coarse aggregate, silt, debris, and other foreign material within the stilling basin around the baffle blocks. Replacing displaced baffle blocks as per the Plans and Specifications provided. Restoring any constructed or damaged access/haul roads used during the performance of the project. Heyburn Lake is a reservoir on�Polecat Creek in Creek County, Oklahoma. It is about 15 miles (24 km) southwest of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Tiger and Brown Creeks also drain into the lake. The nearest town is Kellyville, Oklahoma. The estimated duration of the construction phase is 520 calendar days. In accordance with FAR 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $45M. This project will be solicited as Total Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated solicitation issuance date will be on or about 04 April 2024, and the estimated due date for bids will be on or about 03 May 2024. �
