SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. 10MDGSensory2024 shall be used to reference any written responses to this Sources Sought. The United States Air Force Academy anticipates a requirement for multiple�Vision Training Sensory Stations.�The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 334510. The size standard for NAICS is 1,250 Employees. The Vision Training Sensory Stations will be an invaluable resource for the 1000 intercollegiate athletes, 3000 club and intramural athletes, and 2000 future pilots at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), in addition to the World Class Athlete Program, National Team, and Olympic athletes who train at USAFA. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The necessary salient characteristics are listed below: 5x Vision Training Sensory Stations with the ability to run a program that stimulates motion by lighting LEDs along a track To measure: � visual acuity � contrast sensitivity � depth perception � near far quickness � span of perception � multiple object tracking � reaction time � target capture � eye-hand coordination � go/no go As well as the ability to train: � dynamic vision � perception � spatial memory and sequence � visual search � tempo � shape cancellation � visual motor integration � split attention � anticipatory timing � responsiveness Capability to provide: � comparative database � output reports Additional components: 12x eyewear 2x light strip extension 5x tablet to run the system Delivery Warranty ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. Include in your capabilities package/email your UEI/Cage Code, and System for Award Management expiration date, and any related specifications/drawings. We are interested in any size business that can meet this requirement. Also indicate if you are the manufacturer or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort. This requirement is subject to the Buy American Act, and respondents are required to state the country of origin for the product. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov.
