- These kits are required for direct delivery for overhaul and maintenance for Medium Endurance (WMEC) 210� and 270� cutters.� Long term, Government approved, storage may be required.� The Coast Guard does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisions data, or special tools, necessary to manufacture and provide these parts kits.� This information was not purchased at the time of the original acquisition of the ALCO 251 engines and it is proprietary to the OEM, Fairbanks Morse LLC. The NAICS code is 333618 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees.� The USCG SFLC intends to award a sole source, one time contract to fulfill short term requirements. The following kits are anticipated; however, this is not an absolute.� The kits and quantities may change and other parts kits may be required.� All kits will be identified in the forthcoming solicitation.� Each kit, once identified in the solicitation, will be required to have its own bill of materials, each part identified by part number and quantity.� NSN 5340,01-625-3225, 270#1, P/N 2500525, Qty 2 Kits NSN 2815-01-623-5786, 210A #1, P/N 2500521, Qty 1 Kit It is the Government�s belief that only Fairbanks Morse LLC. has the capability to provide these overhaul parts kits; however, potential sources may submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM supplies/kits and demonstrates their ability to access OEM technical information required to produce, assemble, and provide all the parts that form each complete kit. Potential sources shall submit the following, but not limited to:� (1) Data that required supplies have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or Government in the past, (2) a written letter, signed by the OEM, verifying the interested party�s authority to supply OEM manufactured items and parts to the Government as well as confirming access to the necessary technical documentation to perform. Please respond by email not later than� 1 April 2024, 12:00 pm, Eastern standard time (EST).�� Responses and any questions or information must be submitted in writing to Florence.m.harwood@uscg.mil.� Inquiries/information received after the established deadlines MAY NOT be considered for this acquisition.� Submission for this data for review shall not impede award of this contract, as planned.� The Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any company or entity that responds to this announcement.� Any costs incurred by interested sources, in response to this announcement, will NOT be reimbursed. The USCG does NOT have an estimated timeframe for release of the solicitation, and this is NOT a request for proposal.� Solicitation documents will only be made available on www.SAM.gov and no paper solicitation packages will be made available.� It is the offerors responsibility to monitor SAM.gov for changes or amendments to this notice.
