- Amendment # A002 to RFQ # 19LE2024Q0008 is issued to answer the received questions. Amendment # A001 to RFQ # 19LE2024Q0008 is issued to state the following: The scheduled pre-proposal conference that will be held on March 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the U.S. Embassy Beirut, will also be held virtually at the same time. Companies interested in attending virtually, shall send an email to ContractingBeirut@state.gov by 2:00 p.m. on March 8, 2024, to receive the link to the meeting. RFQ # 19LE2024Q0008 -�English Language Training Program The U.S. Embassy Beirut, Lebanon has a requirement for English Language Training Program for its locally employed staff. The anticipated service is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an electronic offer, which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. Quotations are due by 2:00 p.m. on April 17, 2024. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted. All pertinent information including solicitation amendments and contract award will be posted on this page in SAM.gov. Bidders are encouraged to check this site frequently. � The Contracting Officer reserves the right to reject any quotations that deviate significantly from the instructions in the combined synopsis & solicitation and to waive any information or minor irregularities in proposals received. In addition, the Contracting Officer reserves the right to award the contract based upon initial offers received without holding discussions. Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission will deem the offeror�s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. The registration must be in �active� status. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements at the help tab of www.sam.gov, and the Federal Service Desk: www.fsd.gov.
