- Presolicitation Site Visit GAOA Historic Guinavah-Malibu Campground and Amphitheatre Reconstruction Uinta-Wasatch-Cache (UWC) National Forest Cache County, Utah Solicitation #: 1240LS24R0004-Replaces 1240LS23R0006 Date: April 2, 2024 Time: 1:00 PM Address: Guinavah-Malibu Campground.� The Forest Service will open the gate for access to the campground. THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR VIEWING, OF THE PROJECT SITE, PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/QUOTE OR BID. The UWC National Forest may issue Solicitation No. 1240LS24R0004. The Guinavah-Malibu site includes a campground, group sites, trailhead, day-use area with picnic sites and a historical amphitheater. Special care to protect and retain existing CCC Historical features throughout the site is required. �Base Bid: Demolition: Obliterating existing roads that are to be removed. Removal of Crack Willow and Marked Hazard trees and existing exposed tree stumps throughout the site. Removal existing site furnishings (tables, concrete slabs, fire rings, water hydrants). Removal of 1 Slump Block toilet building. Guinavah-Malibu Campground: Constructing a new campground ""loop"", including new road, spurs, restrooms, family units and site furniture. Constructing a new entrance road and central intersection, with pull-out and kiosk Realigning existing roads and intersections. Installing new road signs and campsite unit numbers Construct Right Turn Lane on US HWY 89. Install CXT Toilets Day-Use Area, Group Sites, Crimson Trailhead: Constructing a new road, day-use parking area, surfaces will be a mix of aggregate and asphalt. Install a new bulletin board. Constructing a new picnic area, including a pathway system, signs and site furniture. Construction pavilions with site furnishings Install CXT Toilets Optional Bid Items: Option #1: Asphalt Paving Place 3� asphalt pavement on Roads, Parking Areas, and Spurs. Option #2: Pavilions Erect pavilions at group sites. Option #3: Amphitheater Restoration Removal of existing amphitheater seating planks and posts. Installing new wood plan benches and supports, Constructing accessible pathway Constructing new wood stairs Installing pathway lighting Construct pavilion with site furnishings This is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract.��The Government does not intend to award a contract(s) based solely on this site visit nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this announcement.� The intent of this notice is to ensure that prospective vendors may see the areas prior to issuing the solicitation.� This solicitation should be issued approximately �April 23, 2024.
