- Date: 04/03/2024 Solicitation Number:68HERC24R00122 Document Type: Pre-solicitation Synopsis Subject: New IDIQ Contract for Roadway Paving and Parking Repair Services, RTP, NC Product and Service Code: Z1LB � Maintenance of Highways/Roads/Streets/Bridges/Railways NAICS Code: 237310- Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction The US Environmental Protection Agency intends to issue a Request for Proposal to award a single Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the maintenance of roadways, parking lots, and other paving repair services at the EPA�s Research Triangle Park (RTP) facilities located at 109 T.W. Alexander Dr., Durham, NC 27709. Collectively, these services are classified as construction services. Firm-fixed-price task orders for paving and paving repairs at RTP facilities will be issued from this IDIQ contract. The IDIQ contract is anticipated to have an ordering ceiling of $10,000,000.00, a minimum guarantee of $10,000.00, and a 60-month ordering period that will begin on the date of contract award. This acquisition is being conducted as a competitive set-aside for Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB). The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310, with a size standard of $45M. A single IDIQ contract award is anticipated to result from the solicitation. All responsible WOSB sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about May 15, 2024. Interested contractors are encouraged to watch for the issuance of the solicitation for additional information concerning the work requested by the agency and any other additional specifications to include provisions and clauses. An organized site visit will be held approximately seven days after the release of the RFP. The RFP will contain steps and points of contact to register for the site visit. Registration must be made to the point of contact by the time specified in the RFP to attend the site visit. Late requests to attend the site visit may not be honored. The due date for proposals is tentatively scheduled for on-or about June 14, 2024. Actual dates and times for the site visit, site visit registration, and submission of proposals will be identified in the solicitation and may vary from those identified in this synopsis. Notices of any modifications to this procurement announcement, including Requests for Proposals and amendments, will be posted using both the FedConnect web portal and SAM.GOV.
