Description
Questions and Answers: Are ICRA Barriers required to go up to deck or can we run them up to the ceiling? The ICRA can go to the ceiling as long as negative pressure is maintained at all times. Are ICRA barriers required to be 1-hour fire barrier type ? Yes GI10, Special Note A ""Contractor to remove window(s) for negative air with hepa air filter and waste removal, upon completion and prior to cleanup of the current restroom reinstall window(s) to match existing; repair any damages to adjacent areas"". Are we required to remove a window and reinstall for each phase to achieve negative air? Please designate on drawing which windows can be removed for each phase and provide details of window type/wall construction so that we may provide accurate pricing on window removal/replacement & wall repair. The glass will be removed by removing the interior and exterior seal the frame and glass will be protected and glass re-installed upon completion of the current room being worked on. At the site visit it was stated that there IS NO med gas work. Please confirm that there is no med-gas work on this project. Drawing PL100 shows a zone valve schedule for med gas and a medical gas alarm panel schedule. Clarify work involving these details. The schedules were added to make the contractor aware that there is med gas near the scope of work. There is no med gas work. Drawing AS102 , detail E7 ""TYPICAL WALL SECTION"" calls out to ""provide continuous blocking behind wall mounted standards"". Please clarify. Wall mounted standards are all standard items that will be mounted to the wall for example: grab bars, fixtures, and accessories. Are the following legends for reference only since there are no plans associated with the described areas? Zone Valve Schedule (ZV-1)/Observation Room 123 No other reference on plans shown for replacement. Medical Gas Alarm Panel Schedule/Nurse Station Room 122 No other reference on plans shown for replacement. Yes, they are only for reference showing that there is med gas near the scope of work.
