- W912EE Mat Barge Modifications This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number W912EE24Q0017 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ) with the intent to issue one Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation is being issued under a 100% Small Business Set Aside.� The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing; with a size standard of 1,300 employees.� This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 � Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Revetment Branch of the US Army Corp of Engineers, Vicksburg District requires the modification of eight (8) mat barges that are used in the transporting of articulated concrete mattress in accordance with the requirements specified in the statement of work. The contractor will be required to provide all the labor, equipment, etc. necessary to remove the existing material on the barges. The contractor will also be required to purchase and install the new material as required in this scope of work. All mat barges will be accessible from the Vicksburg harbor at the end of the 2023 � 2024 Mat Sinking season around the end of March 2024. The contractor will be responsible for the retrieval and delivery of these barges to/from the Vicksburg harbor at the Mat Sinking Unit fleet. All work as required in the scope of work and all barges shall be delivered back to the Vicksburg harbor and Mat Sinking Unit fleet no later than 1 August 2024. All Offerors shall submit a quote with content as specified herein. Quotes submitted without the specified content may be determined non-responsive and removed from further consideration. Offers are encouraged to review all provisions and clauses that are incorporated into this solicitation. ****SPECIAL ATTENTION**** 1)������ ATTENTION SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION � COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS, AS THIS CLAUSE OUTLINES THE EVALUATION FACTORS FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. 2)������ PLEASE ENSURE ALL REQUESTED SUBMITTALS ARE PROVIDED WITH YOUR QUOTATION.� QUOTES SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE SPECIFIED CONTENT MAY BE DETERMINED NON-COMPLIANT AND REMOVED FROM FURTHER CONSIDERATION. The government intends to make one award for one firm fixed price contract. Offers for less than the required delivery will not be accepted. The Government intends to award without discussions while reserving the right to hold discussions if determined advantageous to the Government.� Offerors are encouraged to provide their best proposed pricing in their initial offer.
