- The Sioux Falls VAMC requires semi-automatic pallet shrink wrap machine and scale with the Salient Characteristics listed below. This is a Sources sought looking for businesses to provide the supplies listed below for market research purposes only. No awards of a contract will be made from this announcement. Identify if your organization is the manufacturer of the required supplies. If you are not the manufacturer, identify the manufacturer of the supplies that you will provide and their socio-economic category. Fill out the certificate under FAR Provision 52.225-2 identifying the item, the country of origin and whether it exceeds the domestic content requirements outlined in the FAR. If you are a vendor that can provide the requested information above and required supplies described below with competitive pricing, send your information (to include your organization's Unique Entity Identifier number) with a description of proof of capability to: Theresa.Thunder@va.gov on or before April 10, 2024. *If applicable, VAAR 852.219-76 VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting Certificate of Compliance for Supplies and Products, will apply to the potential solicitation if set-aside for Veteran Owned Small-Businesses.* *If applicable, VAAR 852.212-71 Gray Market Items, will apply to the potential solicitation.* *If applicable, FAR Provision 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting, will apply to the potential solicitation if set-aside for Small-Businesses. * Salient Characteristics for Semi-Automatic Pallet Shrink Wrap Machine and Scale: System: Shall have built in scale (Integrated Scale) Shall have the ability for automatic and manual belly wrapping Shall have minimum of 80 inches wrap height Shall have low profile turntable under 4 feet Shall have two or more wrap modes: 1st mode wraps bottom to top and back to bottom and stops, 2nd Mode wrap bottom to top, stops at the top ready for another wrapping cycle Shall have ability to adjust the pre-stretch levels of the film Shall have operator walk-away capability (machine has a photo eye and knows when to stop wrapping) Control Panel: Shall have adjustable turntable speed Load Weight Capacity and Dimensions: Shall have a minimum of 4,000-pound weight capacity Shall not exceed these dimensions 111 L x 60 W x 137 H Additional Items: Must have complete operators manual Must have a parts manual Must have electrical schematics
