Description
Request for Information (RFI) for�Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) -compatible carrier for the M320 Grenade Launcherarrying Equipment (MOLLE) Carrier consisting of sewn textiles, reinforcing metal and plastic components. The Combat Capabilities Development Command Soldier Center (CCDC SC)/ Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM-SCIE) seeks sources for the manufacture of operational camouflage pattern, textured nylon broad loom fabrics and tan 499 nylon webbing equipment. This item will be produced according to a military technical data package which will be provided to offerors in the solicitation. The government intends to procure the following estimated quantities: 10,000 individual carriers with tether. First Production Lot Inspection of 100 items shall be expected within 60 days from contract award. 300 additional items shall be expected for delivery 120 days from contract award. Interested contractors shall indicate whether they are large business, small business and/or small disadvantaged business as well as their experience with the manufacture of MOLLE items. Please include maximum production capacity (number of facilities and manufacturing floor space) as well as minimum production per month to keep viable production lines operating with potential surge capacity. THIS IS NOT AN RFI FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS. This is not a Request for Quotes. No solicitation package is available. Interested parties must respond by 11:59 pm, 30 April 2024.
