THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide an Automated Gram Stainer System for Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, located at 1700 N Wheeling St., Aurora, CO 80045. The NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees.  Specifications: Throughput 120 slides per hour Maximum Footprint: H 12 inches x W 24 inches x D 24 inches Standardized staining always dispenses the same reagent volume Each slide separated & fresh staining reagent used each time to prevent cross contamination Improved microorganism differentiation compared to manual and bath staining results Barcode reader to assist with full traceability of reagents Traceability of users and maintenance to allow for troubleshooting problems & ensuring compliance User management to ensure standardization of the process Touch screen Customize & programable protocols Rapid results (under 5 minutes) with fully automated process from fixation to slide drying Package includes: Automated Gram Stainer Instrument Training Material   This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation!
