Description
Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is issuing a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and have the resources to support Defensive Systems Analysis.� The market research objectives are to analyze the results to determine the capabilities of industry to support a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) contract for non-commercial services with a base ordering period of five years and an option order period of five years or other procurement methods.� The categories of services and supplies under Defensive Systems Analysis are to assess the theory of operation, characteristics and performance, physical characteristics, signatures, vulnerabilities and employment of defensive systems. The contractor shall provide coherent and integrated analysis of data related to a variety of defensive weapon systems and using countries. The contractor shall perform the analysis, evaluation, assessment, and documentation of intelligence information on current and future defensive systems, including the subsystems, components, and technologies of each system. The contractor shall support the acquisition/exploitation of defensive systems foreign materiel. The contractor shall develop digital models, simulations, and hardware representations of defensive systems and computer-based analytical tools needed to assess foreign defensive system capabilities and vulnerabilities. The contractor shall input parametric data, develop algorithms, and provide quality control of defensive systems databases. Information from data sources shall be used for engineering and scientific assessments and for long-range forecasts of developments in areas of interest.
