- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE���� The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) has a requirement for Medical Physicist Inspections at its main hospital facilities located at 4300 W. 7th St, Little Rock AR,� 72205 and 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114, and VA operated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located at 1520 East Dave Ward Dr., Conway,� AR 72032;� 3106 West 2nd Ct. Russellville, AR 72801;� 1120 South Main Street, Searcy, AR 72143;� and 177 Sawtooth Oaks St. Hot Springs, AR 71901. Services include, but is not limited to the following: Providing annual inspections of all radiographic and Nuclear Medicine equipment as required to meet the directives and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). CFR-Code of Federal Regulations Title 21; Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) (Public Law 102-539) and CFR Title 10.� Validating that the specifications of new equipment are met. Supervision of acceptance testing and performance verification. Supervision of calibration, preventive maintenance, and documentation of all relevant information. Determination of shielding required for new or renovated equipment rooms for ionizing radiation and for radiofrequency and magnetic fields. Providing inspections on equipment prior to it being put back into service after it has been taken down for repairs that effect the imaging quality or radiation output. This data must be reported to the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) within the next business day so that equipment can be utilized for patient care. The contract is expected to be pre-priced Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract with a 5-year ordering period. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Interested parties should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and associated documents on or about May 24, 2024, which will contain the specific instructions and work requirements.���� The solicitation will be issued as a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside in accordance with VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7006 under NAICS code 541690, with a small business size standard of $19,000,000. All interested parties MUST be listed in the U.S. Small Business Administration�s Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ and the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov as of the date of their quote and date of award in order to be eligible.� Neither the quote due date nor award of the contract will be delayed for registration. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only. No pricing is being requested at this time.
