AMENDMENT 1:��Please NOTE the following correction of a term and Q&As and Comment for your information: - Below under # 2 Requirement - should state -��The vendor must have possession of a Book Cart (or Library Cart) to move the Books. Please disregard the term Book Truck! - Questions & Answers: Q)� Are the phases going to be weeks or months apart? Or is this the order of the move and we can complete the whole project in 1 trip?� � � � � � A)� �It�s going to be completed in 1 trip or completing the move in one trip means 1 day or 1 week. Q)��Are the Library shelving units being disassembled, moved and reassemble by us or are there going to be new shelving units installed prior to our arrival?� � � � � A)� �We will not be moving shelving. The new location will already have shelving. Q)��When will we know what ""other items as determined"" will include? � � � �A)� We are referring to furniture in case we do not get everything we asked for brand new. An Overall Comment:��We are not moving any current shelving including the existing High Density Mobile system.� There will be new shelving at the new location.� No old shelving is being moved. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR Seeking sources capable to move (relocate) the stated and specific items from building to building on Edwards AFB, CA 93524.�� The items are particular to the operation of a technical research library.�� The specifications are as follows:� The related scope for the requested services is provided on an attached Statement of Work (SOW), List of Items to Move, and Photos (ZIP.File) of the Items to be moved.� THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPISIS.� NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS.� THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST.� 1.� Purpose. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources able to provide this system. This relocation of items supports the 412th Test Engineering Group�s Library be established in a brand-new facility, Bldg 2710. 2.� Requirement. Below is a list of requirements: The vendor must have a Book Truck to move the books per the SOW. Be flexible to execute the relocation service at a future date at agree Firmed-Fixed Price Contract Order.� The service relocation is dependent on access to the new Building 2710 upon completion.� The current date for Move is 27 Aug 2024, but could slip to FY25 as late as Jan 2025. 3.� Information requested.� The Government requests interested offerors that can fully support this requirement furnish the following information: � � � �A.� Company name, address, points of contact, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. B,� Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the type of support described above. �Please include contract references relating to research and engineering expertise to include: contract number; agency supported, period of performance, original contract value, and Point of Contact (POC) with current phone number. �The information package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. C. Identification of business size (small or large) and identify the socioeconomic disadvantaged category, as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and also currently listed in the System for Award Management (SAM). Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found at Table of size standards | U.S. Small Business Administration (sba.gov). The potential North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes assigned to this procurement is 484210, �Used Household and Office Goods Moving.� The Small Business Size Standard is $34,000.000.00 D.� Any other information deemed useful to the Air Force. Information packages should be limited to no more than 3 pages. 4.� Inquiries.� �Any qualified and interested companies responding to this announcement must be able to support all areas. NO partial support responses from industry will be accepted.
