Description
This is a Sources Sought notice for Market Research purposes ONLY.� This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid.� This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.� Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.� No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement.� Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.� This information will be used to determine the availability of contractors capable of meeting the Government�s minimum requirements.� Telephone calls will not be accepted.� Any questions regarding this notice shall be submitted in writing.� The Internal Revenue Service is seeking sources to determine if there are potentially qualified U.S Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a), Service Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone Small Business, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) and/or Small Business (SB) that are capable of providing installation of new high-speed, spiral, ventilated, garage doors to replace the existing employee parking garage entrance. Characteristics of the doors are as follows: The doors must be ventilated due to emissions from vehicles and allow air flow. The doors must be spiral rather than vertical lift as there is minimal headroom for the doors to raise up and the spiral design requires much less headroom for the install. The doors and materials supplied, current doors removed, new doors installed, and old doors disposed of. All equipment must be supplied by installer. Full service and do not want to be involved in labor hours or any administrative process for the labor and / or installation. No background checks, security training, are required for this project as the contractors would not require access to interior IRS space as it is exclusive only to the parking garages and an escort would be provided during the project. L- 138"" wide X 113"" high - East Garage Entrance - create (2) door openings where current garage door is installed after removal of current garage door. L- 132"" wide X 102"" high - West Garage Entrance - create (2) door openings where current garage door is installed after removal of current garage door. The doors must be equipped and installed with the following features: (2) Motor Heaters. (2) Padlock Hasp for Side Column Brake Release. (2) NEMA 4X SYS 4 Control Box (Standard) 8.5"" x 16.5"". (2) Control Box Heaters, All Voltages. (2) On/Off Key Switch. (2) Advanced Detection and Alert System comparable to Smart Surround for vehicle and pedestrian detection to prevent accidents and injuries. The potential North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) Code is 332311.
