Description
This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information Only and shall�not�be considered as a Request For Quote (RFQ) or a Request For Proposal (RFP), or promise to use as a future RFQ or RFP. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomical status�(service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 336413.�Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on SAM.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. This RFI does not commit the Governement to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Air Force is not currently seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Responders are advised the Governement will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated �with responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued. The 60th Maintenance Squadron/Wheel and Tire shop has a requirement to assemble/disassemble multiple types of aircraft wheels to include C-17, C-5, and KC-46 main and nose wheel assemblies.�The 60th Maintenance Squadron at Travis AFB, CA has a requirement for two (2) wheel lift assembly/disassembly stands. The contractor shall provide the following:� Two (2) wheel lift assembly/disassembly stands Equipment must be able to lift large wheels weighing up to 600 lbs Equipment must be able to fit wheels with a maximum diameter of 51"" Equipment must be able to be plugged into a standard 115VAC wall outlet to operate. Contractor shall provide installation and set-up Contractor shall provide End-User operational and maintenance training. Freight, handling, labor charges, delivery timeline, and warranty information required See the Statement of Need for all additional details for this requirement (Attachment 1). Respondents must include the following information in their submittal: 1. Business name, address, Size Standard, UEI#, Cage Code Point of Contact Name, phone number, and email 2. Vendor must provide detailed specifications of their product and its ability to meet the all the Governments requirements in the Statement of Need. Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted by 21 May 2024. Submit questions via email to both point of contacts in this announcement. Questions submitted after this date will not be allowed.
