- Notice of Intent to Sole Source HT941024N0071 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE SUPPLY CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Western Healthcare Operations Contracting Division (WHOCD), intends to award a firm fixed price supply purchase for replacement, repair and installation of the existing Security Close Circuit Television for Mental Health Department in Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.681(a) Sole Source acquisitions and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government�s needs, to: Brizo, Inc. 3104 Kingsley Street San Diego, CA 92107 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561621�� Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths); the business size standard is $25.0 (Size standards in millions of dollars). The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6350 Miscellaneous Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. The objective of this sole source award is to replace, upgrade, repair and install - Cameras/ QTY 39, Switches/ QTY 3, UPS/QTY 3, Workstations/ QTY 2, Monitors for workstations/ QTY 2, Video Intercom Units compatible with Wisenet WAVE VMS, Storage Hard Drive Division at the Laboratory Department in Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD).� The additional components have to integrate with the existing hardware and software without interruption the existing system due to security concerns.� The contractor shall provide all services, both material, software, and equipment necessary for the CCTV installation in Naval Medical Readiness and Training Center (NMRTC) San Diego Mental Health Unit� BLDG 1, 1st floor, and the removal and disposal of the existing CCTV camera system located in MH units 1N and 1W. This is a onetime purchase� Deliver Date: 1 July 2024 Deliver location: Naval Medical Center San Diego Inpatient Mental Health (IMH) 1 North & 1 West Building 1, Floor 1 34800 Bob Wilson Drive San Diego, CA 92134 Brizo, Inc. is the only source that can meet the Government�s minimum requirements to provide the requested supplies and reagents mentioned above at Naval Medical Center San Diego.� Brizo, Inc. services and maintains the existing security CCTV system in Inpatient Mental Health. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the above requirement for Naval Medical Center San Diego. Capability statements shall not exceed six (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order.
