- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for two 22 passenger buses, with drivers, to transport visitors on the tour route of Grand Coulee Dam. Bus and driver will be available on site at the Grand Coulee Dam Tour Building or other specified location, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., seven days a week. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for base year with four, one year option periods. Buses need to be ABA accessible and need to be equipped with an internal public address system, complete with a hand-held microphone. There is only one fixed route for the tours and there will be eight (8) tours per day. The bus will travel approximately 45 miles per day. The length of each tour is approximately 50 minutes. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 485510, Charter Bus Industry. The applicable service code is W023, Lease or Rental of Ground Effect Vehicles, Motor Vehicles, Trailers, and Cycles. Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1724Q0006 (written) is approximately the fourth week of May 2024. The anticipated closing date is the fifth week of May 2024. The anticipated award date is the third week of June 2024. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding any contract resulting from this solicitation. These items will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. This requirement is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
