Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source Task Order against a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) � NASA SEWP GWAC for specialized IT Equipment for Federal Communications Commission (FCC0/Enforcement Bureau (EB)/Office of Field Director (OFD) monitoring systems.� This order will be issued under SEWP contract NNG15SC04B (NAICS code 334111, size standard 1,250) to CDW-G LLC; 75 Remittance Dr, Suite 1515; Chicago, IL 60661; UEI PHZDZ8SJ5CM1 on a Brand Name Exception to Fair Opportunity basis in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.505(a)(4), FAR Part 12, and FAR Part 13.� A Brand Name Exception to Fair Opportunity Justification will be posted as an amendment to this notice at a later date. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR Authority 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies required at the level of quality required because the supplies are unique or highly specialized. �The type of hardware listed below has already proven to be the best value to the FCC, and is required in order to be integrated into monitoring systems designed and built by FCC EB/OFD.� These devices have already been approved for use on the FCC's network by OCIO. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program (41 U.S.C. 251, et seq. and 40 U.S.C. 501). For this requirement, CDW-G possesses the necessary capabilities.� Below are Wireless routers, rugged computing systems, and PIV card readers for use in EB enforcement tools such as mobile direction finding and remote monitoring systems.� 1. Belkin USB Smart Card Reader - card reader - USB; MFG Part No.�F1DN005U; QTY 40 This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, nor will one be posted on the Contract Opportunities website.�The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
