The Air Force State Office of Emergency Medical Services (AFSOEMS) executes oversight and coordination of Air Force (AF) EMS credentialing across 76 Medical Treatment Facility (MTFs), 89 Guard Medical Units (GMUs), and 180 Fire Departments, ensuring that over 28,000 medical emergency providers maintain their readiness capabilities. The goal of this office is to ensure safe and reliable pre-hospital care is rendered to 2.6 million beneficiaries at all Department of the Air Force installations, worldwide. The program shall be an evidenced informed treatment approach to reduce or prevent recidivism of domestic violence incidents. The program shall be utilized by military and civilian agencies worldwide and designed for male and female offenders of domestic violence. Adopting an effective program with this treatment approach will improve continuity in service delivery. Synchronizing treatment processes can help reduce complications with offenders rehabilitation due to varying treatment approaches being utilized across Service Branches. Importantly, clients moving from or to a joint base must remain motivated and progress through treatment, on an annual basis. The program will be utilized by Department of the Air Force (DAF) FAP world-wide to provide comprehensive treatment to domestic violence offenders. It will allow for delivery of current, up to date information and training that is vital for rehabilitation of domestic violence offenders.
