- The purpose of this Amendment is the following: To provide answers to questions from industry regarding the solicitation: Question: Please confirm if the requirement is for NNSY Portsmouth or NOB Norfolk. Answer: The requirements are for Norfolk Naval Base for the liquid product and NNSY Portsmouth for the conversion to gaseous. Question: Where will I find the attachments for this solicitation? Answer: Open and save solicitation document as PDF, then click on the paper clip to view the attachments. Question: What are the estimated deliveries per year? Answer: NNSY Portsmouth estimate approximately 10 -12 (300 Gallon Loads Each) a year. ����������� ���Norfolk Naval Base estimate approximately 6-8 (600 Gallon Loads Each) a year. Question: Please confirm if: the Norfolk Naval Base (Norfolk, VA) has 8 x 300 tanks, and the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (Portsmouth, VA) has a single 1 x 300L tank? Answer: NNSY Portsmouth: Controlled Industrial Area � 300 Gallon (Ship�s N2 Banks) 5100 PSI. Note: This customer does not have any carts/tanks. The product needs to be delivered by a pump truck, converted, and fill the ship on board N2 banks. Norfolk Naval Base: 2 � 300 Gallon (Mobile Cart/Tank) 55 PSI Question: Are the tanks in measured in liters or gallons? Answer: Gallons (UG6) Question: Is the requirement to keep the tanks full with regular bulk delivery trucks? Answer: Requirement is the vendor would make the delivery within 5 days after the request. Question: What size in gallons are the customer owned bulk tanks?� Answer: NNSY Portsmouth - Controlled Industrial Area � 300 Gallon (Ship�s N2 Banks) 5100 PSI. Note: This customer does not have any carts/tanks. The product needs to be delivered by a pump truck, converted, and fill the ship on board N2 banks. Norfolk Naval Base 2 � 300 Gallon (Mobile Cart/Tank) 55 PSI Question: Are the 20,000 and 15,000 gallons of LN2 per month or annual? Answer: The 20,000 and 15,000 gallons of LN2 are for the entire duration of the contract (October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2029) 2. The Schedule of Supplies Pricing Form has been updated to correct the information for CLINS 0001 through 0006. Please complete and return the updated Supplies Pricing Form, attached to this Amendment. 3. Change the delivery addresses: The following delivery addresses have been deleted: Norfolk Naval Shipyard Piers 1 � 14, Portsmouth, VA 23709 Piers 1 � 14, Norfolk, VA 23511 And replaced with: ���� Norfolk Naval Base Piers 1 � 14, Norfolk VA 23709 Piers 1 � 14, Portsmouth, VA 23511 4. Correct the tank location and the number of tanks/capacity. The following have been deleted: NNSY 1 � 300 Gallon (N2 Cart) 5100 PSI NNSY Fleet Maint ` 8 � 300 Gallon (Tanks) 55 PSI And replaced with: NNSY Portsmouth N/A (Ship N2 Banks) 5100 PSI Norfolk Naval Base 2 � 300 Gallon 55 PSI 5. Please see the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). Corrections have been made to the tank location and the number of tanks/capacity. 6. All other terms and conditions of the Solicitation remain the same.
