- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to procure for the removal and replacement of an existing RF Anechoic Absorber Chamber�s Radiation-Absorbent Material (RAM). Dimension of RF Anechoic Absorber Chamber is 31�W x 28�L x 29�H. Contractor shall supply all the necessary materials including freight, equipment, labor, disposal, and supervision to install the new RAM, excluding any Construction as defined in FAR Subpart 2.101 and FAR Part 36. The contractor shall provide temporary storage of materials while awaiting final installation. A storage site at China Lake is available where a contractor provided sea van (or equivalent) can be used; however, storage is not required at China Lake if the contractor is able to make other arrangements off-site at contractor�s expense. The contractor will be responsible for storage including, but not limited to, transportation of the sea vans on site, set up, secure locking, transportation of material to jobsite for installation, and removal of storage unit once installation is complete.� This requirement is being advertised under full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.102. Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://sam.gov/ to start doing business with the federal government.� The Government will consider all information received via email to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer by 24 June 2024 at 09:00 AM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. No telephone responses will be accepted. Any submissions or questions shall be submitted via email brandi.c.smith6.civ@us.navy.mil and scott.c.hansen.civ@us.navy.mil.� The solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted in Contract Opportunities on the SAM website at https://sam.gov/ on or about 24 June 2024. �� Offers and responses to the solicitation shall be submitted using the instructions in Section L of the solicitation. �If the solicitation�s Section L instruction to offerors state the PIEE Solicitation module will be used for electronic proposal submission, Contractors are required to register in PIEE to obtain access to the solicitation module.
