- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is soliciting to identify potential sources that can provide the following supplies: 1. Title: Spokane VAMC Specialty Chairs Midmark 360, 326 Ritter 225 or commercial equivalent. Please see attached document for requirement information. 2. Requirements: Spokane VAMC has a requirement for Midmark 630 Humanform, Midmark 626 Barrier-Free Examination chair, and Ritter 224 Barrier-Free chair, and accessories or their commercial market equivalents for their Specialty care clinics. These characteristics are required in the supply item. Salient Characteristics 630 Humanform procedure chair or commercial equivalent Must be barrier free design. Needs 18 inch low seat height and 650 pound weight capacity. The chair needs to adjusts as patient moves to maintain head and back support. Must have foot extension extends the chair footrest to accommodate taller patients. Needs contoured upholstery and an adjustable footrest to cradle the patient for a soothing chair like feel. Must have precise medical positioning. Need articulating headrest with tool free adjustment. Require wireless controls. Needs electrical outlets to power ancillary devices at the point of care. Salient Characteristics for 626 Barrier free exam chair or commercial equivalent Must have powered movement of the back section to ensure the patient�s back is supported. Require Barrier-free low chair height that will allow most patients (even females with heights in the 3rd percentile) to place their feet flat on the floor. Needs to easily support the patient�s arm with cuff at heart level using the Patient Support Rails+ accessory. Must be able to weigh patients quickly and discreetly from the exam chair and send data to the EMR with the push of a button. Be able to operate all of your devices from one single pane of glass�the computer screen. Needs receptacles on both sides of the chair provide a power connection for devices. Must have point of care storage with the option to warm supplies used for lower-body examinations. Require quick exam that elevates the chair to the exam position and return to home returns the chair to its home position. Salient Characteristics for Ritter 225 Barrier Free Exam Table or commercial equivalent Needs stirrups and pelvic tilt Must have foot Control and leveling feet Require tamper resistant receptacles Must have accessory receivers Power back system Needs adjustable low and high heights Needs built in pillows Must have hideaway stirrups that lock into 4 positions Require foot extension shelves to expand table length Must have paper roll holders Need storage for one paper roll 3. The Government is accepting industry comment on the salient characteristics. Comments may or may not be incorporated, at the discretion of the Government.
