- Product Manager Soldier Weapons (PdM SW) will be hosting a Precision Grenadier System (PGS) Industry Day on August 20-21, 2024 at The Homeland Defense Technology Center at 3510 Snake Hill Road in Rockaway, New Jersey. �Registration shall start at 0800 hrs. �Industry Day shall commence at 0900 hrs. �The PGS program is currently funded and is anticipated to begin in 1QFY26. �The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide industry with the following information: 1) �Complete system overview, intent, employment and operation as outlined in the approved PGS requirement document. 2) �Provide industry the anticipated program strategy, and schedule. 3) �Facilitate questions and answers to clarify Government�s strategy and requirement. 4) �Facilitate Teaming among Industry Day attending vendors to provide a full system solution. 5) �Increase Government�s knowledge of industry capabilities through vendor one-on-ones. DESCRIPTION: The PGS is a man portable integrated weapon system that enables precision engagements to rapidly defeat various targets in exposed and defilade positions with increased lethality and precision compared to current squad capabilities. �The PGS will provide an overmatch to comparable threat grenade launchers in near peer formations in future operating environments (jungle, urban, woodland, subterranean, arctic, desert, day/night). �The PGS consists of a weapon, a fire control, and a suite of ammunition which enables the user to engage targets in defilade/cover, engage unmanned aircraft system (UAS) targets, and engage close combat targets. GENERAL REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS Vendors desiring to participate in the PGS Industry Day shall complete the following attached forms and send them by email to Corey Woodson, corey.w.woodson.civ@army.mil, Polia Quiles, polia.m.quiles.civ@army.mil, and Christopher Bartow, christopher.j.bartow.ctr@army.mil. � - Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement - RCDDAC Form 1350 - DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement Only one submission is needed per vendor. Vendors desiring to participate in one-on-ones shall submit the name and email address of participants to the Points of Contact above. �Requests must be submitted by 31 July 2024 to be considered to participate in the one-on-ones. �The Government reserves the right to deny vendor one-on-one requests. �During the one-on-ones, the vendor shall present the full PGS system solution. �One-on-ones shall not exceed 45minutes per vendor. �One-on-one timeslots will be on a first come first serve basis. �While not guaranteed, the Government will attempt to accommodate vendor requests for different timeslots. �One-on-one invitations will be sent to participants once a time-slot is assigned but no later than August 7, 2024. �Any hardcopy information provided during the one-on-ones will not be returned. � One-on-ones will inform Government requirement writers of the current and developing capabilities of the Industrial base, as well as provide vendor partners the opportunity to showcase their PGS technologies and discuss information and questions in a private forum. NO TELEPONE INQUIRES WILL BE ACCEPTED. �The Government will accept written questions by email. �All non-proprietary questions and responses will be summarized and posted to this announcement after all one-on-ones are concluded. �Written questions can be submitted up to two weeks after Industry Day and the Government will post responses to the written questions through this announcement. �No competition-sensitive or vendor proprietary information/data will be released. �All vendor information will be treated confidentially. � No sales pitches will be allowed from industry, or giveaways. �No cameras, tape recorders or other reproduction devices will be allowed. �Vendor hardware is permitted for demonstration purposes. �The Government will not entertain vendor Non-Disclosure Agreements. This announcement should not be construed as a Request For Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the Government. � �No contract or award is intended as a result of this Industry Day and/or one-on-ones nor does the Government intend to pay for any information received. �Any response to Industry Day and/or one-on-ones is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding award. �THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. �The Government will NOT ACCEPT proposals at this time. �Vendors will not be notified of the results of this Industry Day. There are no vendor costs to participate in this event. �A lack of participation in the Industry Day and/or one-on-ones does not preclude participation in any future solicitations, if any are issued. The Government will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by a vendor�s decision to participate in the PGS Industry Day. �All travel and other associated costs are to be assumed by the interested vendor. This event is for Government planning purposes only and constitutes a request for exchange of information pursuant to FAR 15.201. �Following the Industry Day, the Government plans to issue a draft PGS RFP for industry review and comment to sam.gov in FY25. � QUESTIONS & ANSWERS 1. �What can we bring to the Industry Day? Response: �Live weapons or ammunition are NOT permitted. �Only non-functioning prototypes will be permitted. 2. �How many people can we bring? Response: At this time, there is no limit to the number of personnel that can attend per vendor. �However, if the total number of Government and Industry personnel exceed the capacity of the room, then the Government shall limit the number of personnel permitted per vendor. 3. �How long will the one-on-ones be for each vendor? Response: �Each one-on-one shall not exceed 45 minutes. 4. �Will hook ups for laptops and monitor(s) be available for the vendor one-on-one presentations? Response: �Yes, vendors will be able to hook their laptops up and present slides on the available monitor. �
