- SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Digital Computer System: NSN: 7010-01-545-7986 Part Number 8402835G1. ITEM DESCRIPTION AN/USM-464A Countermeasure Test Set are utilized to support the test, service, overhaul, and repair of B52 and U2 Aircraft. Counter Measure Systems components at Intermediate and DEPOT Level facilities. NSN: 7010-01-545-7986 Part Number 8402835G1 goes onto the AN/ASM-464A. Impediment to Competition: The original equipment manufacturer for this item is BAE Information. (CAGE 94117 for NSN 7010-545-7986), which maintains its configuration by part number and software version. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, BAE is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the AN/USM-464A component performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.� INTEREST Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than July 11th, 2024 by emailing Scott Elliott (Scott.elliott.2@us.af.mil) and/or Mylynda Dean (Mylynda.Dean@us.af.mil) �The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
