The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all U.S manufactured products that are equal to the following product: The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Laboratory of Immunogenetics (LIG), Antibody Biology Unit (ABU) aims to study antibody responses to infectious pathogens at the monoclonal level. The ABU is seeking: Two (2) stackable floor mount incubator shakers with carbon dioxide and humidity control are vital pieces of equipment required for non-yeast cell cultures. One (1) additional benchtop shaking incubator that is essential to provide the optimal environment to culture yeast cells and accommodate the expanded yeast-based experimental volume being performed. The benchtop incubator shaker must meet the following requirements: Must include the ability to vertically stack two benchtop incubator shakers with a stacking adapter. Incubator must be compatible with a previously requested benchtop style incubator for stacking purposes. Must include the necessary stacking adapter to mount two stacking incubators vertically. Must have an adjustable orbital shaking motion with options of 12.5mm, 25mm, and 50mm diameter throw. Must have a minimum shaking frequency of 20rpm for all orbital throw diameters. Must have a maximum shaking frequency of S00rpm for 12.5mm orbital throw diameter. Must have a maximum shaking frequency of 400rpm for 25mm orbital throw diameter. Must have a maximum shaking frequency of 300rpm for 50mm orbital throw diameter. Must have an ambient temperature range from 10C to 35C. Heated temperature range from ambient +5C- 50C. Must have multiple shaker tray options including a tray with adhesive strips, fixed clamps, for microtiter plates, rubber mat, support bars, and a tray for separating vessels. Shaker tray must be capable of holding the following quantity of each respective flask volume: lx 6,000mL flask 2x 5,000mL Corning flasks 2x 5,000mL flasks 2x 4,000mL flasks 4x 3,000mL flasks 5x 2,000mL flasks 5x 1,500mL flasks 9x 1,000mL flasks 14x S00mL flasks 18x 300mL flasks 20x 250ml flasks 24x 200ml flasks 26x 150ml flasks 26x 125ml flasks 36x 100ml flasks 49x 50ml flasks 80x 25ml flasks Must include a non-shaking, fixed shelf within the incubation chamber for static experiments and cultures including T-style flasks, multi-well plates, and petri dishes. Incubation chamber must be constructed of stainless steel for cleaning and sterilization purposes. Hood and shaker tray must be easily removable/disassembled for cleaning. Must include an access port from the exterior of the equipment to the incubator chamber for temperature monitoring sensors, tubes, and other wires. The two-floor mounted incubator shaker units must meet the following requirements: Must include the ability to vertically stack up to three incubator shakers. Must include a floor stand option with casters to stack multiple incubators and allow for easy relocation and movements of the stacked units. Must have an adjustable orbital shaking motion with options of 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12.5mm, 19mm, 25mm, 50mm, and 70mm diameter throw. Adjustable orbital shaking diameter must be easily and quickly interchangeable by individuals in the laboratory. Must have a minimum shaking frequency of 20rpm for all orbital throw diameters. Must have a maximum shaking frequency of lO00rpm for 3mm orbital throw diameter. Must have a maximum shaking frequency of 250rpm for 70mm orbital throw diameter. Orbital shaking tray must have a controlled acceleration and adjustable active brake.
