- Description
- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District is seeking industry input to develop a solicitation that maximizes competition for a project to Construct two R-11 refueler truck pantograph fillstands with filtration. The requirement also includes a canopy over the fillstand equipment; concrete pavement for access drives; spill containment including a remote spill containment basin; supporting electrical infrastructure to include power and control integration; a fuel issue line; high-point vents; low-point drains; one isolation pit; and a heated eyewash station. Construct a ground vehicle fueling station with one 20,000 gallon double-walled diesel above-ground storage tank; one 12,000 gallon double-walled motor gasoline above-ground storage tank; a 150 gallon per minute bulk load diesel hose-type fillstand; two single-hose diesel dispensers: two single-hose motor gasoline dispensers; concrete paved vehicle fueling lanes with general spill containment; concrete paved access drives (shared with fillstand access drives); supporting electrical infrastructure to include power and control integration; a portable generator connection; dispenser issue pumps and equipment; standard tank appurtenances; and incidental related work. The results of this market research and level of response will assist in determining the manner in which this requirement is solicited and awarded. The Kansas City District plans to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) construction contract for this action. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237120 � Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction with a Small Business Size Standard of $45M. Any questions should be submitted to the Contract Specialist at jeri.l.halterman@usace.army.mil and the Contracting Officer at michael.g.france@usace.army.mil no later than 3:00 PM (1500) CST on 14 August 2024. Interested participants are encouraged to submit a capability statement as it pertains to this requirement. The capability statement response is limited to 4-pages. Capability statements and interest are due to the above listed Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer no later than 4:00 PM (1600) CST on 21 August 2024. A response of not interested would also be helpful in our determinations. We are still in the market research/planning phase of the acquisition cycle and any details provided during this market research are provided to facilitate communication only and is subject to change as the requirement fully develops and navigates the approval process.
